Our company is growing and needs an energetic team-player to join our development team. Position is an excellent opportunity to show initiative and be a part of a company which provides solutions to help our customers better manage their documents and data. We are looking for a highly skilled EDI/Application Developer with strong skills in Mercator and Emanio EDI tools, SQL Server, VB.NET and Visual Basic to develop and maintain EDI software, interfaces, and production environments and to develop, maintain, and enhance client-server applications.

Qualifications:
EDI Tools and Other Languages --

• Solid experience in Mercator DataStage, Emanio Trading Partner, SQL Server, VB.NET, Visual Basic 6
• Desired experience in ASP, PHP, VB Script, Javascript, ADO, COM/COM+/DCOM, Crystal Reports, XML, MS Access
• Ability to work on both EDI and non-EDI development projects

Programming and Other Job Knowledge --

• Experience in EDI development, especially with Mercator and Emanio tools.
• Working knowledge of software development fundamentals.
• Hands-on background in full-cycle Windows development
• Meets programming standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying work process improvements; implementing new technology.
• Ability to handle complex technical problems through analysis, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong desire to be a leading edge contributor in a team environment.
• Demonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.
• Maintains painstaking attention to detail, completing multiple or repetitive tasks.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and documented code.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate well with prospects and customers as well as with the internal development team and management.
• Degree in Computer Science/MIS or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system environments.
• MUST HAVE at least 2 years of EDI and software development experience to be considered for this position.
